Pharmacy Technician Associate Representative

Weekly Schedule: Onsite, Monday Friday, 12:30p - 9p.

This position may be eligible for a shift differential.

What you'll do:

You will be responsible for using advanced knowledge of the job to advise pharmacy techs on order fulfillment and related activities.

Assist in coordinating and monitoring daily workflow in the pharmacy. Step in to assist lead technicians.

Participate in Lean and Continuous Improvement efforts internal and external to the department. Supports staffing of pharmacy tech functions

Supports and trains new employees, and identifies ongoing training needs of tenured employees that require retraining.

Understand and help manage inventory processes (cycle count, new drug additions, reverse distribution)

Other duties as assigned

Requirements:

High School diploma or GED

Pharmacy technician license in the state of Indiana

Basic math and computer skills (i.e. Microsoft Office)

Strong verbal and written communication skills

Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and quality

Willingness to work a flexible schedule to accommodate peak volume times

Physical Requirements:

Sit and/or stand for lengthy periods.

Lift up to 50 lbs. occasionally and 20 lbs. frequently

Perform repetitive motion with fingers, hands, and arms.

Work may be in confined areas close to machinery.

Work may be performed in an environment with varying levels of noise.
