Occupational Therapy Assistant (OTA) degree, active Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) license, and 1+ years Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

What we’re looking for:

• Valid COTA license in Texas (or eligibility to obtain prior to start)
• Previous experience in school settings is preferred, but recent grads are welcome to apply
• Solid understanding of occupational therapy concepts for pediatrics and school-age populations
• Strong interpersonal skills for collaborating with a range of professionals and families
• Commitment to organization, timely documentation, and adaptive support for diverse learning needs

What you’ll do:

• Provide direct therapeutic activities to help students achieve academic and developmental goals
• Collaborate with occupational therapists to implement intervention plans
• Assist with evaluations, progress notes, and maintaining accurate student records
• Adapt materials, modify activities, and contribute creative ideas for therapeutic strategies
• Engage in multidisciplinary team meetings, IEP conferences, and parent communications
