Telecom Fiber Splicer - Michigan Full-time | Travel Across Multiple Michigan Cities We are looking for an experienced Fiber Splicer who can hit the ground running and manage day-to-day splicing work with confidence and accuracy. This role requires regular travel across multiple cities in Michigan and a strong working knowledge of fiber construction, troubleshooting, and testing. Responsibilities Perform fiber splicing, testing, and troubleshooting on active and passive networks Complete day-to-day splicing tasks with minimal supervision Read and interpret fiber plans, splice documents, and network diagrams Use OTDR, power meters, and other testing equipment to verify quality Work in outdoor, underground, and aerial environments as needed Maintain accurate documentation, labeling, and project records Communicate effectively with project managers, field crews, and clients Travel to job sites across Michigan (company-paid travel) Requirements Proven experience as a Fiber Splicer in telecom construction Ability to splice, test, and troubleshoot independently Strong understanding of fiber networks, equipment, and safety standards Comfortable working outdoors and in varying field conditions Valid driver’s license and ability to travel regularly throughout the state of MI Reliable, self-motivated, and able to manage daily workload without oversight What We Offer Competitive pay based on experience Paid travel and per diem Opportunities for long-term growth in a rapidly expanding telecom division Supportive team environment with steady project flow Medical, dental, vision, life insurance, plus a company-sponsored 401K plan We are an Equal Opportunity Employer.
