Job Title: Painter Job Description

Join our dynamic team as a Painter, where you will be responsible for paint preparation and the painting of vehicle bodies, assemblies, and parts. You will perform spray‑booth painting on a wide range of assemblies, ensuring high-quality finishes that meet specifications.

• Mix and apply primers and paints to vehicle bodies, assemblies, and parts.
• Clean and maintain paint equipment, spray booths, and air systems to ensure optimal performance.
• Conduct all surface preparation tasks, including body filling, glazing, sanding, scuffing, and cleaning.
• Set up, adjust, and operate automatic spray equipment and bake cycles, ensuring coating thickness meets specifications.
• Interpret and follow prints, sketches, instructions, procedures, and applicable military/commercial specifications.
• Communicate effectively with Project Managers, Engineering, Operations, and other departments throughout production.
• Maintain a safe work environment and follow all safety protocols.
• Ensure punctuality for work, meetings, and all scheduled activities.

• At least 1 year of painting experience.
• Ability to read measuring tape down to 1/16".
• Knowledge of paint, painting materials, and characteristics.
• Ability to use tools in an elevated position, above head.
• Must have the ability to grasp and maintain grip for long periods with power tools, such as paint guns and air nozzles.

• Proficiency with electric and pneumatic power tools.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Anaconda, MT.

The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $23.00/hr.
