Opportunity:

Radiation Therapist

Job Details:

• Work Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM schedule
• No weekends or on-call responsibilities
• Truebeam/Aria experience preferred
• Perform radiotherapy procedures as prescribed by physicians according to established standards
• Obtain patient history, answer patient questions, and explain procedures
• Monitor patients for unusual reactions or events during treatment
• Schedule patients for treatments and interface with physicists
• Verify prescriptions, diagnoses, charts and patient identification for accurate treatments
• Prepare electronic and written documentation including treatment plans and progress reports
• Position patients in prescribed anatomical positions for treatment
• Perform verification and port film exposures for all treated areas
• Minimum associate's degree in radiography with radiation therapy certification required
• Bachelor's degree in radiation therapy preferred
• Must be graduate of JRCERT approved school
• Ohio Department of Health License preferred upon submission
• ARRT license and CPR certification required
• 1-2 years of radiation therapy experience preferred
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills required
• Ability to lift 20-50 pounds occasionally and 10-25 pounds frequently
