Responsibilities Proficient understanding of engineering principles (soil/rock mechanics, steel design, hydraulics/pump networks, ventilation, conveyors, electricity, economics) Excellent computer skills (AutoCAD, Excel, Word, PowerPoint) Strong communication and interpersonal skills Education & Experience Bachelor's Degree in Engineering (Mining/Civil/Mechanical) or equivalent experience Engineer in Training (EIT) Professional Engineering License (PE) Experience in underground continuous and longwall mining methods Experience in project management Must come out of Coal.
