RN Traveler

Sentara Norfolk General Hospital located in Norfolk, Virginia is hiring a RN Traveler for the Stepdown/Med-Surg Admissions/Discharge Unit! This is a Temporary Full Time Night Shift Position. $70 per hour for a Traveler Assignment. Department/Position Overview: This is a 16 bed Unit. The Nurse: Patient Ratio is 1:4 to 1:5 based on acuity and staffing. Patient Population: IMC/Med Surg- Anticipate DKA, Alcohol Withdrawal, COPD exacerbation, Sickle Cell crisis, CHF exacerbation, Renal Failure, Dehydration, I&D

Education

Associates, Bachelors, Masters, or diploma in the Nursing Field required

Certification/Licensure

• Virginia or Compact Multi-State License in good standing
• Basic Life Support (BLS)
• ACLS

Experience

Must have 2 or more years of recent acute care hospital RN experience
