An entry-level role providing logistical and communications support for a flagship fellowship advancing women's leadership in India. Salary $51,400–$63,300. Vital Voices Global Partnership is hiring a Program Assistant to support the WomenLeaders India (WLI) Fellowship — a country-specific program dedicated to advancing women's leadership across India. This is an excellent entry point into international development and women's leadership programming at a global organization that has invested in more than 47,000 change-makers across 195 countries. The role reports to the Manager of Leadership and Social Impact and provides operational support across all aspects of the WLI Fellowship. Regular availability to overlap with the India Time Zone is required. Based in Washington, D.C. (hybrid, two days/week in office). Note: this position is a pending hire contingent upon funding availability. What You Will Do Program logistics — provide administrative and logistical support for WLI Fellowship activities including workshops, webinars, meetings, and in-person convenings Travel and event coordination — support staff, participant, and trainer logistics including travel, accommodations, and venue support Participant communications — respond to participant inquiries, send reminders, and coordinate follow-up Recruitment support — assist with participant recruitment, application tracking, and cohort documentation Data management — update Salesforce and Airtable, track participation, distribute surveys, and organize program data Communications — draft program materials, social media inputs, toolkits, and storytelling content Requirements Bachelor's degree in international relations, development, gender studies, or related field preferred 0–2 years of experience in administrative, programmatic, or event support roles Genuine interest in global women's issues, women's leadership, or international development Strong MS Office skills; experience with Salesforce a plus Experience working with India, South Asia, or India-focused programs preferred Hindi or other Indian language skills preferred Compensation and Benefits Starting salary of $51,400, with flexibility up to $63,300.
