SHS/SMS - Food Service

High School / Middle School Food Service

As High School/Middle School Food Service, your primary responsibilities will include: Preparing and serving meals to students in a courteous and efficient manner. Maintaining a clean and organized cafeteria environment. Assisting with food preparation, including chopping, slicing, and portioning. Operating kitchen equipment, such as ovens, stovetops, and dishwashers. Monitoring food quality and ensuring food safety standards are met. Collecting payments and accurately handling cash transactions. Assisting in inventory management and restocking food and supplies. Providing excellent customer service and addressing student and staff concerns in a professional manner. Collaborating with other cafeteria staff to ensure smooth daily operations.

The ideal candidate for this position should have the following qualifications: Previous experience in a similar role is a plus but not required. Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 30 pounds. Excellent communication and customer service skills. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing tasks. Availability to work during regular school hours.
