RESPONSIBILITIES:

Safely delivering hazardous materials and documenting deliveries
Communicating with your manager about deliveries, questions, problems, accidents, etc.
Completing daily truck inspections and submitting paperwork
Treating customers and their properties respectfully and professionally
Following checklists to meet daily, weekly, and monthly objectives
Reporting installations that are not up to code
Following truck service recommendations and scheduling regular inspections and maintenance
Participating in regular safety meetings

Propane Fuel Delivery Driver Performance Expectations:

Consistently demonstrate a high level of safety awareness
Maintain NFPA 58 and 54 standards for Driver Safety and Leak and Pressure Check requirements
Ensure CDL, Hazmat, and Tanker endorsements are current
Closely follow all DOT and DMV laws
Keep the truck in good mechanical condition and promptly schedule services as needed
Complete regular DOT physicals
Meet deadlines and communicate regularly with the manager

3+ years of experience in the trucking industry
Ability to understand and apply NFPA, OSHA, EPA, and DOT regulations
Ability to work an on-call schedule
Ability to meet deadlines and manage your time efficiently
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Strong planning, execution, and problem-solving skills
High school diploma or equivalent - desired

Schedule flexibility is a must , and you may need to work up to 10 hours per day during peak season (winter). You can start between 4:30 am to 9:30 am and work for at least 8 hours. Some after-hours work may be needed for emergency propane service.
