Travel Registered Nurse (RN) – Labor and Delivery/Postpartum Focus

What you will do:

• Deliver exceptional obstetric and postpartum care in a state-of-the-art facility.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to implement personalized care plans.
• Utilize your clinical expertise to manage both routine and complex patient situations independently.
• Educate patients and families, ensuring they are informed and comfortable through their journey.
• Demonstrate leadership and professionalism aligned with our core competencies.

Required skills:

• Valid RN license in Texas or a compact state.
• Minimum 1 year of birthing unit experience, including labor, delivery, and postpartum care.
• Current BLS (AHA) certification.
• Proficiency in electronic fetal monitoring (C-EFM) is required.
• Ability to assess, prioritize, and document patient care accurately.

Nice to have skills:

• Certification in NRP, STABLE, and ACLS.
• Experience in a high-volume, full-service hospital setting.
• Prior travel nursing experience.

Preferred education and experience:

• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) highly preferred.
• Recent experience in perinatal nursing or completion of a Perinatal RN Residency.

Other requirements:

• Commitment to attending hospital orientation within the first 30 days of assignment.
• Ability to work night shifts (7 PM – 7 AM) for the full-time duration.
• Willingness to travel and adapt to different clinical environments.
• Paid travel and licensure reimbursement options are available, along with competitive pay of $60.30/hr, weekly pay via direct deposit, and comprehensive benefits.
