- Position Type: Contract
- Contract Duration: 3 months
- Pay Rate: $25.00-$26.00 / Hour (USD)
- Shift / Schedule: Monday-Friday, 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM; some overtime may be available
- Travel Requirements: Not required

- Perform ongoing preventive maintenance and repairs on mechanical, electrical, and other building systems.
- Conduct routine maintenance inspections, diagnose potential problems, and make repairs.
- Assist with the installation and modification of building equipment and systems.
- Assign work orders and estimate the time and materials needed to complete repairs.
- Support energy management by ensuring all building systems are operating efficiently.
- Inspect new installations for compliance with building codes and safety regulations.
- Have some knowledge of standard principles with limited practical experience in applying them.
- Lead by example and model behaviors that are consistent with CBRE RISE values.

- Work within standardized procedures and practices to achieve objectives and meet deadlines.
- Exchange straightforward information, ask questions, and check for understanding.
- Complete daily work orders including PMs (preventive maintenance) and RMs (reactive maintenance).
- Perform light electrical work.
- Perform basic plumbing tasks.
- Perform general maintenance duties.
- Perform basic HVAC tasks.
- Waste removal.
- Assembling furniture.

- Strong mechanical skills (including ability to work on chillers, boilers, pumps, etc.)
- Electrical skills

- CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System) experience
- Ability to use existing procedures to solve standard problems
- Experience with analyzing information and standard practices to make judgments
- In-depth knowledge of Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.)
- Organizational skills with a strong inquisitive mindset
- Commercial HVAC experience (described as a huge plus)
- High School Diploma, GED, or trade school diploma required; in lieu of a diploma, a combination of experience and education will be considered
- HVAC certifications highly preferred
- Plumbing certifications preferred
- 3 years of job-related maintenance experience
- Commercial maintenance experience strongly preferred, with demonstrated mechanical skills to work on chillers, boilers, pumps, and similar equipment
- Candidate will be working in a call center / client critical environment
- Must be able to do a lot of walking throughout the day
- Must be able to lift at least 50 lbs.
- Meet the physical requirements of this role including stooping, standing, walking, climbing stairs/ladders, and the ability to lift/carry heavy loads of 50 lbs. or more
- Some overtime may be available
- Background package required: CBRE Safety Specific with drug screen
- Interview process: 1st round virtual with Hiring Manager; 2nd round virtual with Hiring Manager and Facilities Manager
- This position has conversion-to-permanent potential (salary TBD)
