This unit specializes in the care of critically ill patients requiring advanced nursing skills and close monitoring. Candidates should be prepared to work in a fast-paced environment with a focus on patient-centered care. Responsibilities Manage and monitor ICU patients with a patient ratio of 2:1 Administer medication and perform medical procedures as required Utilize advanced equipment such as ventilators and specialty beds Document patient care accurately in the Meditech documentation system Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to develop and implement patient care plans Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure Current RN license in the state of Tennessee BLS and ACLS certifications required Experience in med/surg or critical care settings is preferred Contract & local rates may vary based on location and applicant residency.
