Family Physician – Float Position (Hybrid | Outpatient Primary Care | No Call | Flexible Hours) Position Overview

• Float role covering provider leave (in-person + remote)

• Mix of onsite clinic coverage + telemedicine same-day visits

• In-person required when covering clinic providers

• Remote work when coverage not needed

• 8-hour or 10-hour shifts available

• 8–40 hours/week (flexible commitment)

• Schedule may be fixed or variable based on coverage needs

• No formal call requirement (per client notes unclear; may be discussed)

• Credentialing: 60–90 days

• $212,160 – $275,808 annually (FTE range)

• Up to $10,000 relocation assistance

• Loan repayment eligible: NHSC / SLRP / PSLF

• Medical, dental, vision insurance

• 20 PTO days + 8 holidays + 5 sick days

• 403(b) with 4% employer match (100%)

• CME: 5 days + $2,500 allowance

• Active California medical license

• Board Certified / Board Eligible in Family Medicine or Internal Medicine

• DEA required

• Minimum 2 years outpatient primary care experience (REQUIRED)

• NO new graduates

• Strong preference: community health / FQHC experience

• Epic EMR highly preferred

• Must be U.S. work-authorized (no sponsorship)

• Spanish bilingual (Added)

• Comprehensive primary care (all ages)

• Acute and chronic disease management

• Preventive care and patient education

• Treatment planning and coordination

• Accurate clinical documentation

• Work across multiple providers/sites as coverage float

• Must maintain high efficiency: 3 patients/hour (20-min visits)

• Strong preference for community health experience

• 60+ providers across 11 fixed sites + 4 mobile units

• Not open to new grads

• Hybrid flexibility is core to role (in-person + remote)
