Preferred candidates will already hold, or be eligible to secure, a Michigan SLP license prior to the start of the new school year. Those from out of state planning a speedy licensure process are encouraged to consider this opening.

Qualifications and Desired Experience:

• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders required
• Current or pending state licensure (MI preferred; assistance provided for those obtaining it)
• Open to SLPs at all experience levels, including Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) candidates
• Prior experience or completed coursework related to school-based SLP services
• Strong communication, organization, and collaboration skills

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide diagnostic and therapeutic services to students across K-12 grade levels
• Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) focusing on speech, language, voice, and fluency needs
• Work as part of an interdisciplinary team, consulting with teachers, counselors, and families
• Maintain up-to-date documentation on student progress in compliance with school and state regulations
• Offer support and education to classroom staff regarding students’ communication needs
