About the Role:
As an Plant Accounting Associate , you are responsible for:
- Managing customer accounts and timely collections.
- Partnering with Outside Sales and internal teams.
- Following up on past due accounts and payment issues.
- Monitoring accounts for non-payment, late payments, and discrepancies.
- Researching and resolving billing and payment concerns.
- Processing chargebacks, returns, credits, and bad debt items.
- Supporting lien filings and joint check agreements as needed.
- Maintaining accurate account records.
- Assisting with reporting and special projects as required.
About You:
The ideal candidate for this role will have:
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong organization and time management skills.
- Experience working in JD Edwards or similar ERP systems.
- Ability to multi-task and prioritize.
- Strong problem-solving skills.
- At least 2–4 years of related experience.
