Heavy Equipment Operator – Front End Loader
Position: Heavy Equipment Operator / Front End Loader Operator
Schedule: Full-Time | Day Shift
Location: Nashville Area
We are seeking an experienced Heavy Equipment Operator to operate a front-end loader in a busy outdoor yard environment. This position is responsible for safely moving, loading, and organizing bulk materials while assisting with daily yard operations.
ResponsibilitiesSafely operate a front-end loader
Load materials into customer and company trucks
Move and organize bulk materials throughout the yard
Maintain a clean and safe work area
Perform basic pre-shift equipment inspections
Monitor equipment and report maintenance or safety concerns
Follow all safety procedures and operating guidelines
Assist with general yard duties as needed
Work safely around trucks, equipment, customers, and other employees
Previous front-end loader or heavy equipment operating experience required
Ability to safely maneuver equipment in an active yard environment
Comfortable working outdoors in varying weather conditions
Ability to follow safety procedures and instructions
Dependable attendance and punctuality
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Comfortable working in a physically active environment
The ideal candidate has previous experience operating a front-end loader, wheel loader, or similar heavy equipment and is comfortable working in a fast-paced outdoor environment. Strong attention to safety, reliability, and equipment awareness are essential for this position.
