IPTW Pipe Welder

This position involves performing welding functions according to jobsite specifications, including various welding procedures, brazing, and cutting on all types of pipe in an industrial construction environment. Responsibilities Support safety initiatives and uphold the company’s core values. Represent the company with high moral standards and adhere to the code of conduct. Collaborate effectively with peers, supervision, and QA/QC department. Select equipment and plan welding layout and assembly. Weld pipe of various kinds, sizes, and alloys using ARC, SMAW, GTAW, GMAW, GAS, MIG, TIG, etc. Weld high and low-pressure pipes per specifications, with all welds subject to NDE testing. Perform pipe fit-up and grinding when required. Weld structural steel, handrails, brackets, and non-piping components. Work within precise standards of accuracy. Maintain current certifications in SMAW, GTAW, GMAW or FCAW. Identify safety hazards and take corrective actions. Perform other related duties as assigned. Compensation & Benefits Hiring range in California: $38.00 to $40.00 per hour. Qualifications Minimum 5 years of refinery maintenance, turnaround, or construction experience. Knowledge of basic hand tools. Pass welder skills test at or above 70%, including practical welding tests. Complete safety, process safety management, and site-specific training.
