Vice President, Racket Sports

We are looking for a qualified and self-motivated individual to join our Property Sales Team as Vice President of Racket Sports. The candidate will be a leading member of PIVOT’s Property Team, working with our clients to source, negotiate, and secure partnership agreements. This individual will be working closely with our growing group of Racket Sports clients, including tennis, pickleball, padel, and more. This person will play a leading role in growing this area of our business and will need to have applicable experience selling significant sponsorships. Responsibilities: Lead business vertical within the Property Team, managing client relationships and growth of the area of business Manage and train business development executives as well as assist in daily client and prospect communication Drive new business sponsorship sales for a growing list of PIVOT property clients in Tennis, Pickleball, and additional properties PIVOT represents Leverage existing contacts and national corporate relationships to drive incremental revenue opportunities on behalf of PIVOT’s racket sports clients Cross-sell clients across multiple PIVOT properties (esports, naming rights, etc.), brand, hospitality, and other verticals Lead sales presentations to prospective clients, including both in-person and phone calls Lead outbound sales efforts to effectively create and cultivate opportunities for property clients Effectively manage one\'s own book of business, including prospecting, lead origination, proposal development, and closing business Directly manage accounts and relationships, acting as the main point of contact between PIVOT racket sports clients and the PIVOT sales team Set an example and be a leader within the property sales division with direct reports Lead all executive-level communication with new and existing clients Provide regular progress reports on business development goals and new business outreach Assist the PIVOT executive staff on special projects as requested Job Performance Evaluation: Consistently meets and exceeds individual revenue goals on behalf of property clients Daily sales activity, including new prospective client outreach, client meetings, proposals, etc. Effectively communicates to senior leadership on sales outreach activity and individual revenue pipeline projections Acts in the best interest of company objectives and works well with fellow team members and senior leadership Uses sound judgment in representing the company’s values and objectives inside and outside of the office Required Education and Experience: BA/BS in Business, Sports Management, Marketing or other related disciplines 5-7+ years of experience in sponsorship sales, marketing and business development in tennis or other racket sports Expert knowledge and understanding of the sports sponsorship landscape Existing book of business and industry relationships Preferred Skills & Qualifications Leader who can energize people and teams, and drive cross-functional team collaboration An appropriate level of drive and toughness to effectively manage multiple demanding critical projects in a fast-paced, technical environment, and rapidly evolving industry Firm grasp of available networking platforms within the sports management industry Advanced negotiation skills Excellent presentation, written, and oral communication skills Acute attention to detail, organization and efficiency Experience using MS Office, Salesforce and Google Suite #J-18808-Ljbffr PIVOT Agency
