Role Summary Join our team as a Customer Service Representative and play a vital role in supporting our members, patients, and healthcare providers. You will handle complex inquiries regarding health benefits, billing, and eligibility, ensuring an exceptional, accurate, and compliant customer experience. Responsibilities Assist Members: Professionally answer inbound calls to resolve complex inquiries related to core benefits, Medicare, facility information, and premium billing. Solve Problems: Collaborate with medical groups and internal teams to investigate customer concerns, evaluate data, and implement swift solutions. Maintain Compliance: Ensure strict privacy and confidentiality of protected health information while accurately documenting all interactions Deliver Quality: Consistently meet performance guidelines for first-call resolution, call handling, and overall customer satisfaction. Required Education: High School Diploma or equivalent. Skills: Minimum typing speed of 30 WPM alongside analytical and critical-thinking abilities. Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills with a professional, clear, and empathetic tone. Experience: Prior experience in a high-volume call center or the healthcare/health insurance industry is highly preferred.
salary: $27.49 - $27.5 per hourshift: First
work hours: 8 AM - 5 PM
education: High School Responsibilities Represent the health plan by professionally answering and documenting all incoming contacts, determining their nature, and responding to complex calls related to specialized product lines or queues.
Respond effectively to inquiries from both internal and external customers.
Initiate contact with appropriate health plan, medical group, and facility personnel to obtain necessary information to resolve concerns or inquiries.
Evaluate data to determine and implement the appropriate course of action to resolve complaints and coordinate service recovery.
Assist the department in meeting customer needs and achieving overall department expectations. Skills
