Job Title: Senior Data Scientist / Healthcare Analytics (CGM & Diabetes Insights)

The pay range for this role is between $120K - $135K per annum including any bonuses or variable pay. Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Data Scientist with a strong background in healthcare analytics, specifically in Continuous Glucose Monitoring (CGM) and diabetes insights. The ideal candidate will leverage their expertise to drive data driven decision making and improve patient outcomes through innovative analytics solutions. This role requires a deep understanding of health analytics, statistical modelling, and machine learning techniques.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement advanced analytical models to extract insights from healthcare data related to CGM and diabetes management.
• Collaborate with cross functional teams, including healthcare professionals, data engineers, and product managers, to identify key business questions and deliver actionable insights.
• Utilize statistical methods and machine learning algorithms to analyze large datasets, ensuring the accuracy and reliability of results.
• Communicate findings and recommendations effectively to stakeholders through presentations and reports.
• Stay current with industry trends and advancements in healthcare analytics, continuously seeking opportunities for innovation.
• Mentor junior data scientists and contribute to the development of best practices within the analytics team.

Mandatory Skills:

• Proven experience in health analytics, particularly in diabetes management and CGM technologies.
• Strong proficiency in statistical programming languages such as Python or R.
• Experience with data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI) to present complex data insights clearly.
• Solid understanding of machine learning techniques and their application in healthcare.
• Ability to work with large datasets and perform data wrangling and preprocessing.

Preferred Skills:

• Experience with electronic health records (EHR) and healthcare data standards.
• Familiarity with cloud computing platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure) for data storage and processing.
• Knowledge of regulatory requirements and compliance in healthcare analytics.
• Strong communication skills, with the ability to convey complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.

Qualifications:

• Master's or Ph.D. in Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, or a related field.
• 7 -10 years of experience in data science or analytics, with a focus on healthcare.
• Demonstrated success in delivering impactful analytics projects in a healthcare setting.
• Strong problem-solving skills and a passion for improving healthcare outcomes through data.
