Adult Nutrition Outpatient Sales Representative - Nashville, TN

Abbott seeks an outpatient sales representative for its nutrition division in San Diego to drive sales of therapeutic nutrition brands including Ensure, Glucerna, and Juven across hospital and specialty clinic accounts. The role involves executing sales strategies, managing key healthcare stakeholder relationships, and communicating clinical product benefits to healthcare professionals.
Responsibilities
- Manage acute care accounts, wound clinics, and podiatry offices with full ownership
- Execute strategic sales initiatives to exceed established sales targets
- Coordinate with district manager and interdisciplinary teams on account planning
- Communicate clinical and economic benefits of nutrition products using promotional materials and studies
- Prioritize resources and maximize focus on top revenue-driving priorities
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree
- 2-3+ years sales or relevant clinical experience
- Hospital setting sales experience across diverse healthcare professionals
- Clinical or healthcare background (RN/RD preferred)
- Strong business acumen and healthcare landscape understanding
- Excellent oral communication and analytical skills
- Strong organizational abilities
Compensation: $61,300 – $122,700 base
