Class A CDL Local Driver

Join a dedicated CDL-A fleet that offers daily home time, predictable schedules, and steady year-round freight. This local position is ideal for drivers who prefer consistent routes, familiar delivery locations, and the opportunity to be home every night while working with a dedicated retail customer.

Drivers on this account deliver retail merchandise to the same store locations each week using established routes and appointment schedules. With consistent start times, live trailer swaps, and dependable freight volumes, this position provides the stability and routine many professional drivers are looking for.

Job Details

Home daily
Dedicated retail account
Multi-stop delivery routes
Predetermined, consistent routes each week
Meet linehaul drivers and complete live trailer swaps
Deliver to the same retail chain locations on a regular basis
Consistent appointment times and customer locations

Physical Requirements

This is a highly physical and labor-intensive position.

Driver unloads freight onto conveyor systems or roller ramps
Freight is stacked floor-to-ceiling inside trailers
Average 50 to 300 boxes unloaded per stop
Average 500 to 700 boxes unloaded per trailer
Box weights range from 2 to 100 pounds
Typical box weight ranges between 30 and 60 pounds
Occasional use of a pallet jack for palletized freight

Schedule

Home every night
Consistent start times
Predictable weekly routes and appointments
Customer may require occasional six-day work weeks during peak periods
Additional workdays are typically communicated in advance

Requirements

Valid Class A CDL
Minimum 6 months of Class A CDL driving experience
Ability to perform frequent lifting and unloading duties
Ability to safely handle freight throughout the workday
