Labor and Delivery RN Registered Nurse Labor and Delivery Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 hours (19:00 - 07:30) Experience: Minimum 2 years of experience required License: Required at the time of submission Certifications: ACLS, BLS, NRP, STABLE, C-EFM Must-Have: NRP, STABLE, and C-EFM required High risk Labor and Delivery experience 1 prior travel assignment Description: Labor and Delivery RN needed. This role requires high risk experience in Labor and Delivery. A quick start is available. Local candidates within 60 miles are accepted at a lower rate. The position includes 3 shifts per week, from 19:00 to 07:30. Candidates must have 2 years of experience. ACLS and BLS certifications are required. Preferred skills include triage experience and charge experience. Call is required: 36 hours in 6 weeks, or 12 hours per pay-period. Candidates must be on premises within 45 minutes of receiving a call. Every other weekend and holiday work is required. Floating within skillset is required, including Mom/Baby and postpartum units. Candidates must assist with high risk deliveries and circulate for C-sections. Experience with abnormal fetal heart rate pattern recognition and treatment is also essential. Candidates will participate in the triage of obstetrical patients. Candidates must be able to work with neonate and adult patient age groups. A minimum of 1 travel assignment is required for consideration. No requested time off is permitted during the first two weeks of the assignment. Only one application may be submitted at a time. Manager interviews are not guaranteed; candidates should be comfortable proceeding without an interview.
