Learn more about Target here. Responsibilities Demonstrate a service culture that prioritizes the guest service experience by delivering the service standard. Create a welcoming experience by greeting guests and assisting with daily tasks. Engage with guests to help solve their specific needs and communicate promotions, store activities, and events. Be knowledgeable about tools, products, and services available in the total store to resolve issues and improve guest experience. Assist guests with Target Loyalty program benefits and sign-up as needed. Scan and bag items efficiently, accurately, and in compliance with safety standards and company best practices. Move efficiently to minimize guest wait time while maintaining service and accuracy. Explain features and offerings within the Target App, including Wallet, and assist with enrollment and use of Order Pick-Up, Drive Up, and online ordering. Handle returns following store policies and consult with leadership as needed. Maintain a clean, clutter-free work area and stock supplies during store hours while remaining available to guests. Demonstrate ethical conduct, safety, and compliance; work safely and report hazards. Support guest services such as order pick up, Drive Up, and related duties with adherence to applicable laws and policies. All other duties based on business needs. You are open to a flexible schedule with varying hours, days, or shifts (including nights, weekends, holidays, and peak times). Ability to educate guests about products and services and engage around them. Ability to operate scanners and technology equipment; work independently or as part of a team. Maintain focus and composure in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks within timeframes. Additional basics Accurately handle checkout operations and support cash office duties as needed. Ability to lift up to 10 pounds frequently and up to 44 pounds occasionally with or without assistance. Flexible work schedule (nights, weekends, holidays); reliable attendance required. Maintain mobility for the duration of a shift and work in varying temperatures and conditions as required (e.g., Drive-Up, carryout).
