Automotive Technician

This position balances high-volume Pre-Delivery Inspections (PDIs) with hands-on, paid mentorship . When you aren't prepping brand-new Kias or quality pre-owned vehicles for our customers, you will be paired directly with a Journeyman Technician, earning while you learn. Responsibilities Complete comprehensive multi-point safety and functional inspections on new Kia inventory and pre-owned vehicles. Verify mechanical, electrical, and Kia infotainment systems work perfectly before customer delivery. Conduct test drives to ensure proper alignment, braking, and handling. Assist Journeyman Technicians with complex engine, transmission, and advanced electrical diagnostics. Complete digital training modules and apply new skills under direct supervision. Keep your dedicated bay and shared shop areas clean and organized Qualifications 2 years of experience in an automotive shop or dealership environment Must have your own tools Strong knowledge of automotive systems and repair techniques Proficient in using diagnostic tools and equipment Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail Valid driver's license and a clean driving record (3 year min) Automotive trade school degree or current ASE certifications are a major plus All your information will be kept confidential according to EEO guidelines.
