Residential Supervisor – Schenectady ARC – 214 State St, Schenectady, NY 12305, USA Schenectady ARC provides high quality services to developmentally disabled adults in the Capital Region. The Residential Supervisor coordinates the day‑to‑day operations of a residence, ensuring staff and residents meet policies, regulations, and individualized service plans. Compensation: $19.00 – $19.59 per hour Hours: Full time, 40 hours/week, evening shift (2‑10 pm / 3‑11 pm) with one weekend shift required. Responsibilities Supervise shift staff and work alongside Direct Support Professionals. Provide leadership, training, scheduling, and supervision of staff. Ensure the residence operates in accordance with OPWDD and SARC policies and procedures. Assist the Program Manager with: Meeting individuals’ needs in accordance with their Individual Service Plan (ISP). Completing treatment plans, including habilitation services, behavior charts, sleep charts, activity logs, and communication logs; and ensuring all documents meet federal and state requirements. Providing instruction and support for activities of daily living (ADL), including toileting, showering, incontinence aids, and communication. Communicating pertinent information among Program Manager, Care Coordinator, Nurse, DSPs, QA, and clinicians. Coordinating recreational activities. Participating in onboarding of new hires—interviewing, orienting, and disciplinary actions. Assisting with financial ledgers and ensuring receipts for all expenditures. Scheduling staff to ensure appropriate coverage. Backing up the Program Manager as needed. Obtaining and maintaining a valid medication certification in accordance with agency policies. Qualifications High school diploma or GED (or equivalent). A passing score on acceptable standardized tests may be accepted. One (1) year of experience in the ID/DD field. Valid NYS driver’s license meeting agency guidelines. Basic computer skills preferred. Differentials $6.00 for weekend (day and evening shifts) $1.50 for weekday awake overnight (Mon‑Thurs) $0.50 for weekday evening (Mon‑Thurs) Location and/or certification differentials may also apply.
