About the Role:

We are seeking a compassionate and energetic Activities Assistant to join our team at Green Acres Nursing and Rehab. As an Activities Assistant, you will play a vital role in enhancing the quality of life for our residents by planning and facilitating engaging recreational and social activities. If you are passionate about helping others and have excellent communication and organization skills, we encourage you to apply.

Responsibilities:

• Plan and implement a variety of activities, including games, arts and crafts, fitness classes, and social events to promote socialization and engagement among residents

• Create and organize programs tailored to residents' interests and abilities

• Encourage resident participation and inclusion in all activities

• Develop and maintain relationships with residents, families, and staff to ensure a positive and supportive environment

• Collaborate with other departments, such as dietary and maintenance, to ensure a seamless experience for residents

Working Environment:

• Monday-Friday 9am-5pm with every third Sunday

• Experience preferred but not required
