Experienced Commercial Litigator

Lengea Law is a growing, attorney-led law firm representing healthcare entrepreneurs and businesses across the country. Our clients include medspas, medical practices, telehealth companies, wellness businesses, dental practices, and other healthcare-focused businesses.

We are looking for an experienced Employment/Business Litigation Attorney to join our team and help expand our litigation capabilities.

We are seeking an attorney with strong experience in employment litigation and/or general business litigation who can independently analyze disputes, develop strategy, communicate with clients, and manage matters through resolution.

The ideal candidate has substantial litigation experience and understands that our clients are business owners who need clear, practical legal advice. Experience representing employers, companies, executives, healthcare businesses, or other closely held businesses is particularly valuable.

• Manage employment and business litigation matters from intake through resolution
• Analyze disputes and advise clients regarding litigation risk and available options
• Develop litigation strategy and case plans
• Draft pleadings, motions, discovery, correspondence, settlement agreements, and other litigation documents
• Conduct legal research and prepare persuasive written work
• Handle discovery, depositions, hearings, mediations, and other litigation proceedings as appropriate
• Communicate directly with clients regarding case strategy, status, risk, and next steps
• Advise business clients on employment disputes and other potential litigation before disputes escalate
• Work collaboratively with partners and other attorneys
• Identify opportunities to resolve matters efficiently when appropriate
• Maintain strong organization and case management across multiple matters
• Contribute to the development of litigation processes, templates, and firm resources

• Strong experience in employment litigation and/or general business litigation
• Active license in New York plus at least one additional state preferred
• Strong legal research, writing, analytical, and advocacy skills
• Experience independently managing litigation matters
• Excellent judgment and strategic thinking
• Strong client communication skills
• Ability to manage multiple cases, deadlines, and priorities
• Comfortable working independently in a fully remote environment
• Strong attention to detail and follow-through
• Healthcare industry experience is a plus, but not required
