Job Description:


The ideal candidate must have experience in adult trans-thoracic echocardiography including bubble and prepared contrast agents, extracranial cerebrovascular exams, upper and lower extremity peripheral arterial and venous duplex, physiologic testing, renal vascular and AAA scans. Candidate must be able to demonstrate advanced knowledge, strong skills, and the ability to work efficiently and independently. Experience in placing intravenous lines is a plus.

Qualifications:

• Graduated from an accredited school of Sonography/Ultrasound with a focus on vascular and echo
• 2+years of experience
• ARDMS or CCI registry in Adult Echocardiography and Vascular technologies
• A basic life support certificate is required

Responsibilities:

• Perform ultrasound and vascular tests as directed by doctors.
• Follow the lab's schedule to ensure tests are completed on time and minimize patient wait times.
• Accommodate add-on appointments as needed.
• Write and send test reports to doctors for review and signature.
• Accurately use the lab's electronic systems (EMR and Vidistar) to save results to patient charts.
