Shift Manager

Position Overview This job posting is for a position in a restaurant owned and operated by an independent franchisee and not McDonald’s USA. The franchisee holds a license to use McDonald’s logos and food products; however, the franchisee is a separate company and employer. All hiring, firing, discipline, supervision, staffing, and scheduling decisions are made by the franchisee, not McDonald’s USA. Responsibilities Managers lead shifts every week, ensuring customers receive a fast, accurate, and friendly experience. A Shift Manager provides leadership to crew and other managers during a shift to ensure quality, service, and cleanliness. Shift Managers plan each shift, monitor performance, enforce McDonald’s standards, maintain safety and security, manage profitability, and communicate with the next Shift Manager to prepare for a smooth transition. They are also responsible for meeting targets and helping assigned departments achieve their goals.
