What You Will Do

• Carry out both standard and complex laboratory tests across multiple disciplines including chemistry, hematology, and immunology in accordance with established protocols.
• Ensure the accuracy of test results, troubleshoot discrepancies, and manage routine maintenance and calibration of laboratory equipment.
• Assist in collecting specimens and preparing samples as necessary.
• Document processes meticulously, mentor new team members, and uphold the highest lab quality standards.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe lab environment while adhering to strict regulatory guidelines.

Educational Requirements

• Possession of a Bachelor's degree in Clinical or Medical Laboratory Science, or a relevant allied health degree, with plans to obtain ASCP/AMT certification.

Certifications Needed

• ASCP or AMT Certification in Clinical Laboratory Science (CLS) required within the first year of employment.
• Ongoing maintenance of certification for the duration of employment.
