Seven Healthcare are seeking an experienced RN for a Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (Level 2 NICU) opportunity in San Marcos, TX. This travel position requires the ability to provide both routine and complex nursing care, with potential floating to mother/baby units as needed. Candidates will work independently, managing various aspects of patient care in a collaborative environment.

Key Responsibilities of the RN - NICU- Neonatal Intensive Care

• Provide nursing care in line with ANA Scope and Standards of Practice, including assessment, diagnosis, planning, intervention, and evaluation for assigned patients
• Address complex psychological, emotional, cultural, and social needs of patients and families
• Administer medications and treatments according to protocol, monitoring for side-effects and effectiveness
• Document patient history, symptoms, medications, and care
• Assess learning needs and provide education to patients, family members, and/or caregivers

Requirements of the RN - NICU- Neonatal Intensive Care

• Bachelor of Science in Nursing preferred
• 1 year of experience in relevant nursing specialty preferred
• Current STABLE certification (Post-resuscitation/Pre-transport Stabilization Care of Sick Infants)
• Current BLS certification (AHA only)
• Current NRP certification
• RN License in the state of TX or compact
