Field Technician / Lead Technician Assistant

Pay: $20-$25/hr DOE

Position Overview

Seeking a motivated and dependable Field Technician Assistant to support a Lead Technician in providing carpet cleaning, air duct cleaning, upholstery cleaning, and area rug cleaning services for residential and commercial customers. This is a hands-on position with training provided and strong potential for advancement into a full-time Lead Technician role.

Responsibilities

• Assist with carpet cleaning and air duct cleaning projects in homes and businesses
• Set up, operate, and maintain cleaning equipment and tools
• Prepare work areas and move furniture as needed
• Assist with upholstery, area rug, and specialty cleaning services
• Load, unload, and organize tools, equipment, and supplies
• Maintain a clean and professional work vehicle and work area
• Interact professionally with customers on job sites
• Follow safety procedures and company service standards
• Complete assignments efficiently while maintaining quality workmanship

Requirements

• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
• Ability to lift 50+ lbs regularly
• Strong work ethic and positive attitude
• Reliable attendance and punctuality
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Comfortable working in residential and commercial environments

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in carpet cleaning, air duct cleaning, restoration, janitorial services, floor care, pressure washing, moving, or general labor
• Customer service experience
• Mechanical aptitude and comfort using hand tools and equipment
• Willingness to learn and grow within the company

Physical Requirements

• Frequent lifting, bending, kneeling, and standing
• Ability to work indoors and outdoors in varying conditions
• Ability to safely operate cleaning equipment and tools
