Demonstrated abilities include a basic understanding of electrical engineering sciences. Prior experience in consulting and design will be highly regarded. Your primary responsibilities will focus upon providing feasibility studies, construction documents, and construction oversight for energy projects. You’ll be expected to possess strong communication and problem‑solving skills. What You’ll Need Bachelor’s or Advanced Degree in Electrical Engineering, Electrical Power Engineering, or a related engineering discipline At least 4 years of design/consulting experience Demonstrated ability to develop design calculations, construction drawings, and specifications Strong communication and technical writing skills Ability to work independently with minor supervision once given guidance by a lead engineer Desirable Qualifications Professional Registration (PE) or the ability to obtain Professional Engineer (PE) within 1 year 3D modeling software such as Revit, AutoCAD, CADWorx, and NavisWorks Power system modeling experience using SKM Power Tools, ETAP, or similar software Power distribution systems and microgrids Power generation projects exceeding 10 MW capacity HV or MV substations Renewable energy projects including wind, solar, hydro, geothermal, and other technologies Energy storage systems Protection and control, SCADA, or power system automation Campus utility master planning or decarbonization/climate response planning Cogeneration or combined heat and power systems Thermal utility plants and distribution systems (steam, hot water, chilled water) Benefits Our health and welfare benefits include medical, dental, vision, and basic life insurance. The base salary range for this position is $116,400.00 to $203,600.00. Pay is determined by work location and additional factors such as job‑related skills, experience, and education.
