Position Overview Mid‑Level Support Equipment Configuration Management Specialist located in Hazelwood, Mo. The role supports the Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) within the SE System Engineering and Integration Team (SEIT). This team is expanding due to recent program wins and increased work on existing programs, providing an opportunity to support U.S. and allied warfighters worldwide. Responsibilities Assess prime and supplier contract change management requirements. Generate configuration management plans. Establish and apply methodology for product and document identification. Prepare change control documents such as Engineering Change Proposals, Requests for Variance, Change Documents/Change Requests, and conduct program Change Control Boards. Perform configuration audits and coordinate product configuration definition documentation. Collaborate with fellow configuration management engineers on principles, practices, and support of industry quality audits. Determine export authority for technical work products. Collaborate with customers and engage in program planning. Basic Qualifications Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering, Engineering Technology (including Manufacturing Technology), Computer Science, Data Science, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, or non‑US equivalent directly related to the work. Five or more years’ related work experience or an equivalent combination of technical education and experience. Three or more years’ experience with Microsoft Office products such as Outlook, PowerPoint, Excel, and Word. At least one year of experience communicating, collaborating, and building consensus with internal and external stakeholders. Preferred Qualifications Experience in Configuration Management. Experience with Engineering Change Management / Engineering Design Process. Demonstrated interest in personal learning, development, and process improvement. Ability to accomplish tasks through formal and informal channels, applying cultural understanding to strengthen organizational strategic plans and profitability. Exceptional attention to detail and strong written and spoken communication skills. High accountability, reliability, flexibility, and ownership mindset.
