A well-established, insurance defence practice is seeking an experienced Insurance Defence Attorney to join its Boston office.

The role involves advising insurers on complex defence issues, handling bad faith claims, and providing detailed policy interpretation and coverage opinions. The successful candidate will manage a varied caseload that includes both advisory and litigation matters, with a strong emphasis on precise legal writing, thorough research, and clear, commercially sound analysis.

Requirements:

• Minimum 5 years of experience in insurance defence
• Strong academic credentials from a reputable law school
• Excellent legal writing, research, and analytical skills
• Strong communication skills with the ability to deliver clear and practical coverage opinions
• Must be admitted to practice law in Connecticut
