Lead Teachers – Little Bear Learning Center-Infant Classroom

This position is for our waterford location.

At Little Bear Learning Center, we believe children learn best when they feel safe, supported, and encouraged to explore . We’re looking for a Lead Teacher who bring patience, creativity, and heart into the classroom and enjoy building strong relationships with children, families, and fellow educators.

This role is a great fit for someone who enjoys leading a classroom while still staying hands-on and connected to children’s daily experiences.

What You’ll Do Each Day

• Create a warm, nurturing classroom where children feel confident and cared for

• Plan engaging, age-appropriate activities that support learning through play

• Guide classroom routines with consistency and flexibility

• Support children’s social, emotional, and developmental growth

• Build positive relationships with families and communicate openly

• Collaborate with assistants and leadership to create a strong classroom team

What We’re Looking For

• Experience working in an early childhood setting

• A calm, positive, and patient teaching style

• Strong communication and teamwork skills

• A genuine passion for working with young children

• Ability to meet state licensing requirements for a Lead Teacher

(We welcome educators who are continuing their education or growing in their careers.)
