Automotive Service Lane Manager / Dispatcher
New Bern Auto Group is seeking a Automotive Service Lane Manager / Dispatcher. The Lane Manager / Dispatcher is essential in ensuring processes are followed in the Service Lane and work is being distributed to the proper technicians.
Responsibilities
- Ensuring processes are being followed in the Service Lane
- Dispatching repair orders to the appropriate technicians
- Handling customer concerns
- Conducting weekly advisor reviews
- Leading meetings
- Active involvement in T.O.'s to provide a fresh perspective and presentation to customers
- Closing repair orders
- Assist customers in servicing, repairing and explaining each service need
- Filling in at the desk when needed
- Understanding customers' requirements and concerns; matching requirements and concerns to various service options
- Keeps abreast of new products, features, accessories and attend product training as required
- Assisting in hiring
- Monitoring usage of systems
- Creating & achieving goals, for effective labor rate, ASR percentages, hours per RO, Xtime utilization Uveye, Rapid Recon etc.
- Maintaining a high customer service index (CSI) rating by handling customer complaints immediately and appropriately
Qualifications
- Experience in service advising and being a top performer
- Strong focus on providing excellent customer service
- Motivated and enthusiastic
- Driver's license
- Background screening
