Job Description
TITLE
Licensed Clinical Therapist - Psychiatry

SCHEDULE
- Shift Length: 10-hour shifts
- Shift Options: Days 07:00-19:30 OR Evenings 16:00-02:00
- Weekend Requirement: Every other weekend (Saturday and Sunday)
- Holidays: Must commit to working 3 of the following 5 holidays: Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year's Eve, New Year's Day

ASSIGNMENT DETAILS
- Clinical Experience: Crisis risk assessments for adults and pediatrics (hospital emergency department experience preferred)
- Typical Caseload: 7 patients daily

REQUIREMENTS
- Required License: Full independent LCSW, LMFT, or LMHC
- Years of Experience: 3 years preferred; minimum of 1 year required
- Key Clinical Skills:
- Crisis/mental health risk assessments (adult & pediatric)
- Involuntary detention/5150 procedures
- Crisis intervention and management (suicide/homicide/self-harm)
- Biopsychosocial assessments, intake/admission screenings
- Care coordination, case management, discharge planning
- Substance use disorder and psychiatric disorder evaluation
- Work with multidisciplinary teams; document for continuity of care
- Charting System: Epic (required)

ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES
- Perform emergency department evaluations to assess danger to self/others or grave disability.
- Provide level-of-care recommendations as a consultant to emergency department providers.
- Conduct biopsychosocial assessments and discharge/contingency planning.
- Coordinate care and manage cases for patients with mental health and substance use disorders.

- Compact License: Must be in hand at submission (valid state license required)
- Local Radius: 50-mile local radius; can only be submitted to one partner facility at a time

- Return Staffing: Can return after 3 months
