- Design Personalized Treatment Plans: Assess individual patient needs and craft customized therapy approaches to help them achieve their personal objectives.
- Implement Therapeutic Techniques: Employ evidence-based methods to improve patients' motor functions, cognitive abilities, and essential daily living skills.
- Engage with Interdisciplinary Teams: Collaborate with fellow OTs, PTs, STs, physicians, and nurses to provide holistic, comprehensive care.
- Educate Patients and Families: Guide patients and caregivers through therapy methods to support continued progress beyond the clinical setting.
- Track and Document Progress: Monitor clinical outcomes, making necessary adjustments to treatment plans to ensure optimal patient recovery.
- Degree in Occupational Therapy from a recognized and accredited institution.
- Encouragement and support for pursuing additional education or certifications.
- Current and valid Occupational Therapist (OTR/L) license.
- Required certification by NBCOT (National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy).
- A true passion for aiding others in achieving their maximum independence.
