Laser Machine OperatorQualified Staffing is searching for an experienced Laser Machine Operator for a manufacturing company in Lithonia, GA. This is a hands-on manufacturing position for someone with experience operating CNC laser cutting equipment and working with sheet metal.Schedule: Monday-Friday, 7:00 AM–3:30 PMPay: $20-$25, based on experienceResponsibilitiesSet up and operate CO2 and Fiber Optic laser cutting machinesLoad programs and adjust machine settings based on material type, thickness, and job specificationsRead and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and work ordersLoad and unload sheet metal, including steel, aluminum, and stainless steelInspect finished parts using calipers, micrometers, tape measures, and other precision measuring toolsMonitor machine operation and troubleshoot cutting, material, or program issuesMake adjustments to cutting speeds, power settings, and gas flow as neededPerform basic machine maintenance, including cleaning lenses and nozzlesDeburr, sand, or grind finished parts as neededMaintain accurate production records and follow production schedulesMaintain a clean, organized, and safe work areaOther duties as requiredQualificationsPrevious CNC laser cutting experience preferredExperience with Mitsubishi, Trumpf, Amada, Bystronic, or similar laser cutting equipment is highly valuedAbility to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawingsExperience using precision measuring toolsBasic CNC programming and machine troubleshooting skillsKnowledge of sheet metal, including carbon steel, stainless steel, and aluminumStrong mechanical aptitude and attention to detailForklift and material handling experience preferredReliable attendance and strong commitment to safetyHigh school diploma or GED requiredWhy Work for Qualified Staffing• Benefits package including healthcare, vacation, holiday pay, and 401(k)One application connects you to hundreds of opportunities Qualified Staffing
