About this position A little taste of your day-to-day Bar Setup and Preparation: Set up the bar area according to event specifications, including arranging bottles, glassware, ice, and other necessary supplies; keep the bar clean, organized, and well‑stocked. Prepare garnishes, mixes, and other drink ingredients. Transport bar equipment and supplies to and from event locations. Beverage Service: Prepare and serve alcoholic and non‑alcoholic beverages accurately and efficiently following standard recipes and portion control guidelines; provide friendly service, monitor guest alcohol consumption, handle cash and credit card transactions, and ensure responsible alcohol service. Inventory Control: Maintain accurate inventory of bar supplies, restock during events, report shortages, and properly store alcoholic beverages. Bar Breakdown and Cleanup: Break down the bar area after events, clean all surfaces, glassware, and equipment, return equipment to storage, and dispose of trash and recycling properly. Guest Interaction: Provide excellent customer service, maintain a positive demeanor, and address guest inquiries and concerns professionally. Adherence to Regulations: Adhere to all local and state liquor laws and verify legal drinking age; follow company policies and procedures regarding alcohol service. What we need from you Physical ability to lift, push, and pull objects up to 50lbs (23kg) including bending and kneeling. Good reading, writing, and basic math skills. Flexibility to work night, weekend, and holiday shifts. Compliance with local laws on food handling and serving alcohol; must be above the minimum age required and fluent in the local language. Excellent communication skills: warm, welcoming, and easy to talk to. What you can expect from us Hourly rate: $4 + tips (location‑specific to Indianapolis, IN).
