Required Skills & Experience
- 5+ years executive-level leadership experience in fitness, wellness, or recurring service-based business
- 3+ years overseeing multi-unit operations generating $20M–$30M+ in revenue
- Experience managing 20+ locations OR equivalent scale (multi-site P&L ownership)
- Strong financial acumen: ability to analyze AUV, margins, EBITDA, and revenue drivers
- Experience optimizing recurring revenue models (fitness, hospitality, membership-based services like Massage Envy, etc.)
- Proven experience recruiting, scaling, and developing high-performing service teams
Nice to Have Skills & Experience
- Active nationally recognized PT certification (NASM, ACE, ACSM, NSCA, ISSA, etc.)
Job Description
A customer of Insight Global is looking to hire a Regional Vice President of Personal Training to come onboard!
This executive-level leader will oversee personal training operations across a growing multi-state region, partnering closely with operations leadership and executive stakeholders to drive revenue, member experience, and team performance. The role focuses heavily on building and scaling teams, optimizing recurring revenue models, and influencing pricing, service design, and overall PT strategy. This individual will spend significant time in the field coaching leaders, conducting audits, and using data to improve KPIs across 17–26 locations. Strong financial acumen and the ability to unpack business performance (AUV, margins, and revenue drivers) are critical.
- Oversee PT operations across 17+ gyms (scaling to ~26), ensuring revenue growth and operational consistency
- Partner with Regional VP of Operations and executive leadership to shape PT strategy, pricing, and program design
- Lead, coach, and develop Market PT Managers, club leaders, and trainers across multiple states
- Drive recruiting, hiring, and onboarding strategy to build high-performing PT teams
- Analyze and “unpack” financial metrics (AUV, margins, profitability, recurring revenue friction points)
- Conduct frequent site visits, audits, and performance reviews to ensure high standards of execution
- Implement strategies to improve client acquisition, retention, and lifetime value
