Job Summary:
Our Emergency Department (ED) RNs provide critical care and respond swiftly to a wide range of emergency situations across all age groups. They are equipped to assess, prioritize, and manage patients presenting with diverse physical and mental health conditions, ensuring timely and effective treatment.

Responsibilities:

• Assess incoming patients quickly to determine the severity of their condition.
• Develop and implement personalized nursing care plans based on clinical evaluations.
• Respond to trauma and emergency situations with decisive and accurate actions.
• Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members to coordinate care.
• Document patient assessments, interventions, and outcomes thoroughly and accurately.
• Maintain competency in emergency procedures and required certifications to ensure quality care delivery.

Qualifications:

• Must have at least 1 year of recent ED nursing experience within the past six months.
• Possess a valid NJ State Professional Registered Nurse license or multi-state compact license.
• Hold current BLS, ACLS, PALS, and NIHSS certifications.
• Demonstrate clinical proficiency in ED-specific skills such as stroke assessment and trauma management.
• Strong analytical and decision-making skills for emergency patient care.
