Step into a rewarding contract role as a virtual Occupational Therapist supporting students in a dynamic educational setting. You'll play a crucial part in helping students reach their fullest potential, delivering high-impact services in a flexible virtual environment.
Key Qualifications:
- Current Occupational Therapist license
- Experience working in school-based settings preferred
- Expertise with assessment, interventions, and progress monitoring for K-12 students
- Strong communication skills to collaborate effectively with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams
- Comfort and proficiency with virtual therapy platforms and technology
What You'll Be Doing:
- Providing direct virtual OT services to a student requiring 30 minutes of support per month
- Conducting comprehensive assessments for additional students as referred
- Developing individualized therapy plans and implementing evidence-based interventions
- Maintaining thorough and timely documentation of student progress
- Collaborating with educators and families to foster an inclusive learning environment
- Participating in IEP meetings and multidisciplinary discussions as needed
