Travel RN – ICU Step-Down / PCU (Nights)

Contract – Travel Assignment | 13 Weeks | Night Shift (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM) | Onsite

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in a PCU/Step-Down setting with a nurse-to-patient ratio of 4:1
• Monitor and manage PCU and medical-surgical level patients requiring standard drip therapies
• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate individualized patient care plans in accordance with unit protocols
• Fulfill weekend shift requirements of 2 weekend shifts per 2-week scheduling period
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to ensure safe and effective patient outcomes

Required Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license valid in the state of Texas or a compact state license
• Minimum of 1 year of experience in a PCU, Step-Down, or IMC setting
• Proficiency with standard PCU drip therapies (excluding insulin drips and vasopressors)
• Ability to work night shifts (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM)
• Compliance with all travel contract and facility credentialing requirements

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Prior travel nursing experience in a PCU or Step-Down unit
• Familiarity with a wide range of medical-surgical patient populations
• Strong adaptability and ability to integrate quickly into new clinical environments
