Software Developer

Genesis10 is currently seeking a Software Developer for a contract position with a Global Financial Institution located in Jersey City, NJ. This is a 12+ month contract opportunity.

In this role, the candidate will serve as a technical subject matter expert, mentoring team members and designing complex system components. This position involves working on enterprise applications within an Agile environment, focusing on best practices, design patterns, and robust coding standards.

Responsibilities:

• Serve as the technical subject matter expert and mentor team members on best practices, design patterns, code reviews, and coding standards
• Act as the primary designer for complex component designs for systems
• Build unit test cases on both client and server sides
• Contribute and challenge ideas in technical discussions
• Effectively partner with business, QA, and development teams while clearly communicating status, risks, and recommendations
• Manage priorities efficiently, deliver results on time, and maintain a high standard of quality
• Take end-to-end ownership for deliverables, proactively identify risks, and consistently deliver on commitments

Requirements:

• Strong experience with Angular, ASP.Net, and SQL Server development including query optimization
• Proficiency in .Net Core, C# 6 and above, WebAPI, Kendo UI, Entity Framework, JQuery, and RESTful APIs
• Experience with DevOps/CICD practices
• Significant experience working within an Agile methodology
• Strong problem-solving skills
• Experience with JIRA and GIT/BitBucket

Desired skills:

• Experience with Informatica, Tableau, or MuleSoft Anypoint platform
• Knowledge of Oracle databases
• Familiarity with containerization technologies
• Experience with React JS, Blazor, Jasmine, or Karma

Pay range: $58.26 - $66.26 per hour
