Key Responsibilities
Project Planning & Execution:
- Define project scope, objectives, and deliverables in alignment with business goals.
- Develop detailed project plans, schedules, and resource allocation strategies.
- Monitor project progress and adjust plans as needed to meet deadlines and quality standards.
- Lead cross-functional teams including technical, business, and vendor resources.
- Facilitate daily stand-ups, sprint planning, retrospectives, and other Agile ceremonies.
- Provide guidance and support to team members to resolve blockers and ensure productivity.
- Act as the primary point of contact for internal and external stakeholders.
- Communicate project status, risks, and issues clearly and effectively.
- Manage stakeholder expectations and ensure alignment throughout the project lifecycle.
- Identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies.
- Proactively manage issues and escalate when necessary to ensure timely resolution.
- Ensure that all project deliverables meet quality standards and compliance requirements.
- Coordinate with QA teams to plan and execute testing phases.
- Maintain comprehensive project documentation including charters, plans, meeting notes, and status reports.
- Provide regular updates to leadership and contribute to post-project reviews and lessons learned.
- 5-8 years of experience in project management, preferably in IT infrastructure, certification, or service delivery domains.
- Proven ability to manage complex projects with multiple stakeholders and dependencies.
- Strong understanding of project management methodologies (Agile, Waterfall, or Hybrid).
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Experience working in onsite/offshore delivery models.
- Ability to lead teams through ambiguity and drive results under pressure.
- Proficiency in project management tools such as MS Project, JIRA, Confluence, Trello, or similar.
- PMP, PRINCE2, or Agile certification is a plus.
- Familiarity with Linux environments or infrastructure projects is a plus.
- Experience in certification renewal or compliance-driven projects.
- Deep knowledge of IT security best practices and compliance regulations.
- Proven experience in IT project management, with a strong understanding of IT infrastructure, systems, and operations.
