Laboratory Technician

Our client, a leading organization in the research and development sector, is seeking a Laboratory Technician to join their team. As a Laboratory Technician, you will be part of the Corporate Research Analytical Laboratory supporting innovative testing and analysis activities. The ideal candidate will demonstrate attention to detail, strong manual dexterity, and a proactive approach, which will align successfully in the organization. Job Title: Laboratory Technician Location: Maplewood, MN -100% onsite Pay Range: $18 to $22 p/h on w-2 What's the Job? Prepare and maintain laboratory spaces and organize resources for analytical testing. Perform sample preparation utilizing fine motor skills, cutting tools, analytical balances, and other lab equipment as trained/directed. Conduct visual observations on samples. Support laboratory experiments through basic testing and evaluation. Document all results accurately. What's Needed? High school diploma and a minimum of 1 year of experience as a Laboratory Technician in a commercial, industrial, government, or academic research environment, or a 2-year associate degree in a laboratory science (chemistry, biology, microbiology, or related field). Knowledge of analytical testing methods and equipment. Ability to occasionally lift or carry up to 5 pounds. Ability to use a ladder or step stool for elevated tasks. What's in it for me?
